REMARKS
I would happily return to this hotel. It’s one of the best in Geneva, reflecting the Swiss tradition of hospitality. The expertise and service, influenced by Geneva’s renowned École hôtelière, are simply exceptional.
POSITIVE
- The Hotel d’Angleterre is ideally located on Lake Geneva, close to Gare de Cornavin.
- Service was outstanding—reception staff personally escorted us to our room, and a handwritten welcome letter from the General Manager was delivered upon arrival.
- The rooms are elegantly decorated in a classic style, adding a special charm.
- Turn-down service was provided, and the room included two bottles of water, fresh fruit, and sweets.
NEGATIVE
- The minibar didn’t work very well, as the drinks weren’t as cold as expected.
- The Wi-Fi connection was poor, and the lifts felt small and somewhat outdated.
- Additionally, the bed sheets showed signs of wear and were slightly unstitched.
