POSITIVE

• The Conrad London St James is excellently located near Westminster Abbey.
• Being right opposite a tube station makes traveling around London easy and convenient.
• Service was outstanding, truly worthy of five stars.
• The Wi-Fi in the room was reliable, and the in-room amenities—including a razor kit, comb, and other essentials—were very good.
• Breakfast also offered a selection of several newspapers.

NEGATIVE

• The room service meal I ordered (steak sandwich) was disappointing and not up to five-star standards.
• At breakfast, the bacon was served cold.
• I found a hair in my dressing gown.
• Some aspects of the hotel showed signs of wear: employee suites appeared somewhat used, and the bathroom towels were slightly worn.
• Having previously stayed at the Conrad Brussels (now Steigenberger), I found that the Conrad London St James does not quite match the same level of luxury in terms of the building and overall ambiance.
