Hotel Voyage Sorgun (Side, Turkey)
I spent one week at Hotel Voyage Sorgun in Side, Turkey, from April 27th to May 4th, 2025 (7 nights and 8 days).
The Voyage Sorgun is an all-inclusive resort, offering 24-hour food and drinks, as well as full access to the spa facilities. I booked my holiday through Sunweb.
Overall, the hotel was excellent, though the food was a bit disappointing and didn’t quite meet five-star expectations. For example, the meat and fish were often overcooked, and the dishes were somewhat too traditional—there’s definitely room for improvement in the culinary experience.
The resort offered plenty of activities, including a spa, gym, several pools, a private beach, and sports facilities such as football, tennis, beach volleyball, and pétanque. There was also more than enough space for sunbeds, which made relaxing by the sea very enjoyable.
Strongest points
- There were plenty of sport activities and leisure options: a spa, gym, several pools, beach access, and sports fields for football, tennis, beach volleyball, and pétanque.
- One of the highlights was the large green lawns stretching between the pools and the beach, offering lots of space to relax and unwind.
- Although the hotel mainly catered to families with children, it was still easy to find a quiet corner away from the noise.
- For those interested in culture and history, ancient Roman ruins are located nearby, offering a glimpse into the region’s fascinating past and making for an excellent sightseeing opportunity.
Weakest points
- While the resort offered many amenities, the food buffet didn’t quite meet five-star standards, and the rooms also felt below true five-star quality.
PRACTICAL INFORMATION
My departure flight was on April 27th, from Brussels to Antalya, a journey of approximately four hours with Pegasus Airlines. The return flight took place on May 4th.
Hotel Voyage Sorgun is located in Side, near Antalya, about one hour from the airport. All transfers were included in the holiday package. The airport-to-hotel transfer was in a 12-seat van with 10 passengers on board, and Voyage Sorgun was the last stop on the transfer route.
Weather
The weather was overall very pleasant, with plenty of sunshine throughout the week, except for one day of heavy rain. According to the weather app, the temperature hovered around 21°C, though it often felt closer to 28°C in the sun. Fortunately, there were indoor activities available for rainy moments. It’s truly a great time of year to visit, as the climate is warm and comfortable without feeling too hot.
ALL Inclusive
- Price: € 2.266 for one person in a double room.
- Dates: from the 27th April to the 4th of May (8 days, 7 nights).
Everything was included at the hotel — a true all-inclusive experience with unlimited drinks, food, spa access, sauna, and gym. All flights were also part of the package. We flew with Pegasus Airlines from Brussels (Zaventem Airport) to Antalya Airport (Turkey), a flight lasting about four hours.
The airport–hotel transfer is an optional extra that can be booked through Sunweb during checkout — an option I always choose and highly recommend. The transfer from Antalya Airport to Hotel Voyage Sorgun took approximately one hour, with the bus making several stops along the way to drop off and later pick up guests from different hotels.
Food
The hotel features an all-inclusive lunch buffet, where you can eat as much as you like, along with a 24-hour à la carte dining area offering a smaller menu.
I mainly dined at the buffet restaurant. A large sliding door opens to the outdoor area, which makes it easy for families with children to enjoy lunch in a relaxed, airy setting. The restaurant itself was pleasant, but the food quality fell short of a five-star standard. Fish and meat were often overcooked, feeling more like industrial preparation than fine dining.
On the plus side, you could request personalized cooking for meat and fish, which was a thoughtful option. The vegetable selection was solid, though the fruit choices were limited. The yogurt and bread offerings were adequate, but nothing particularly memorable.

ACTIVITIES
The hotel offers a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities for both adults and children, making it an ideal destination for families. It’s truly perfect for kids.
The beach features several paid water sports, while the resort has multiple large and small pools, each surrounded by plenty of sunbeds. A huge lawn with additional sunbeds and parasols provides even more space to relax. There are daily yoga and dance lessons, as well as numerous sports activities including beach volleyball, football, tennis, aqua gym, and water polo. Guests can also enjoy an ice cream and fruit bar, regular bars, and a buffet à volonté during meal times. Waitstaff are attentive, taking orders multiple times a day, and serving whatever you want — all included. Cakes, pastries, and ice cream are available 24/7, and tipping the waiters is possible if you wish.
The spa is also impressive, featuring a warm sauna, hammam, Turkish bath, an indoor pool, a small terrace, and a medium-sized gym with around 25 machines. A spa bar serves fresh juices, all included in the package.
For children, there are water slides, adding to the fun.
The photos I took were on a cloudy day, which isn’t fully representative of the usual sunny weather at the hotel.

ROOMS
The rooms were practical and family-friendly, though not particularly luxurious. I never used the TV, but the internet connection was reliable. The amenities were convenient, including razor and shaving cream, toothbrushes and toothpaste, shampoo, and body gel — so men can safely leave most of their personal care items at home.
The rooms were generally clean, with housekeeping visiting several times a day, but they lacked a real “wow” factor. Each room had a small terrace with two chairs and a table, offering a nice outdoor spot to relax.
