It was time to buy a new pair of sunglasses for the Summer.

I decided to go for Ray-Bans.

I tried a couple of models and the Justin Classic model seemed to be the right option.

The price was €159 in a shop in Brussels but you can buy them cheaper on the internet.

I looked it up and found the same model at €91.

Retail shops are going through a difficult period with the competition on the internet.

I knew I could buy them cheaper online but decided to support a local shop. I didn’t expect the difference to be so important though.

The sunglasses are made entirely of plastic. It was a conscious choice to go for a full plastic model. Plastic has a bad reputation since we saw a turtle with a plastic straw in its nose.

I went for a full plastic model because I hate separate nose pads and metal pad arms.

There are no nose pads on this model and I believe this is the best option if you to go to the beach or use them during sport.
