Tommy Hilfiger Sunglasses

Summer is coming, so it was time for me to buy a new pair of sunglasses.

I used to have a pair of Prada sunglasses but they broke down recently and to be honest with you I only had problems with them … they were falling apart because of the side screw that was constantly falling off. So I wouldn’t buy a new pair of Prada for sure.

On my journey to buy a new pair, I visited a couple of shops and tried several models. The price range of the models I tried was between 100 and 500 €.

But frankly, 500 € is a bit expensive for a pair of sunglasses.

When I explained to one of the salesman that I had lots of problems with my Prada glasses he told the me not to buy “designer sunglasses” because they weren’t as good as sunglass brands.

OK …. however after trying several models I finally went for the a Tommy Hilfiger pair.

The model is a kind of “aviator” type and fits really nicely and they were the cheapest of them all 99 €. Definitely worth the value

However, I already noticed a problem, the glasses are a little bit to bright; I may need a pair of sunglasses with darker glasses when there’s a lot of sun.

Update

Well after 10 days, the glasses broke, The side screw fell off.

Luckily for me, I bought the glasses at a Grand Optical shop in one city and was able to return to a Grand Optical shop close to my place to have them repaired for free.
